Aimee: This is an annual Portland event sponsored by the Center for Earth Leadership - Jeanne and Dick Roy.
Jeanne and Dick founded the NW Earth Institute: http://nwei.org/

Interwoven into the event (based on Taize) are the themes of gratitude, concern and celebration.

I'm on the planning committee and thought of you.

As we discussed the evening last week, the idea of asking you to lead an ending piece came up.
Since this isn't a "performance" in the classic sense, a number of performers are stepping in to share at different points in the evening.
Most folks are contributing their participation.

I'm guessing that if you were doing a sharing after the event, however, you'd get a rousing group of folks
attending from this event. You would be able to sell CDs and share promotional information.

Let me know if you might be interested. The date is April 15th.

I would love to come sing with you sometime, too.

Robin

Hi Aimee,
Yahoo has a search-the-people, independent socializing function that has also connected me with people who I don't even know. My guess is that that's how it happened. Meanwhile, Deborah is one of my dearest friends, so connected through her would be, as you say, a pretty good start. I will be up on Bainbridge Island the weekend of November 12. Do you live nearby? Perhaps we will meet then. Jaems.

Hi Aimee,
Thanks for your encouragement. Still going at it. And it's coming along. Wednesday afternoon before 4:00 or Thursday morning would work for me. Evenings that week are hard because I've got Molly and it's the first week of school. Otherwise, we'll have to wait until the week of September 22. I think a couple of hours in daylight could be a good start.
XO Collin

Hi Aimee,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I tried to leave a message, but then got frustrated. Apparently, I had to add you as a friend before I could add a comment. Thanks for your post on my blog. That was nice. Of course I would love to talk on the phone sometime ... A little late for Jane's course maybe, but not for Danny's. Both were excellent and came at the exact right time in my life. May you be at least as well blessed as I was. Shanti

Hi Aimee, I'm so glad to see you here. Let me know if you have any questions about this network. Are you coming to see Martin Shaw?
