Hi Danny,

Hm. My blog has disappeared, short though it was. I have not written the same blog again, and it doesn't seem to post. Perhaps I should just list my primary blog here --
http://shamansjourneyworkshop.blogspot.com -- until I can figure out what I am doing wrong. LOL. Alternative realities, yes. I'll figure it out. I am new to blogging. Thanks so much for inquiring. Bear Hugs, Lora

My ancestors are riding a swell. Gathering about me. They seem to know far more of our upcoming liason than I. This is good.

Hi, Thanks for the welcome message. I attended the storytelling gathering at the Duvall Coffee House on Saturday night. I enjoyed the evening! I was invited in a phone call at 6 pm that evening by a friend familiar with your work. I did not know anything more than that a storytelling was the focus of the evening. Usually I do not just hop in the car and drive 20 miles in the dark...but... I had a dream on the Sunday before that I would like to tell you. It is a very short dream.
In a city with many murals painted on buildings, with Jeff and someone else.
We are in a restaurant and we have wrapped gifts to give and receive. We take turns receiving a set of items and mostly they seem like books. The one I notice is "Be here Now".end of dream.
After Jeff's invitation I remembered the dream and decided we simply must attend.
It was wonderful! A great experience to join together with the stories, listeners, drums.
I have studied dreaming and participated in dream circle for 7 years. I am a preschool teacher and singer.
In graitude,
Lucinda

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the welcome. I am an educator and artist living in Virginia. My wife and I have an expressive arts studio here;www.theartlifestudio.com. I am researching on men's work and expressive arts. I have spent many years involved in the men's movement in Toronto during the 80's and 90's. I am familiar with the uses of shamanic ritual and psychotherapy.I will be launching a men's expressive arts group and thought your community discussion and participation could inspire my work here. I look forward to joining some of the discussion. I am just finishing a 3 week retreat of meditation, writing and reflection. Thanks for your interest.

Dear Danny
Its Nicky here all the way reconnecting from Melbourne Australia. I think of the wonderful times I shared with you, Birch and Judith and often play Judiths CD. Its brings me peace. I miss the authenticity and amazement of you guys; the stories around the fire and the music you shared with me. Anyway I hope you are all doing well over there and maybe somehow through the wonderful world of cyberspace and this wonderful site we can all keep in touch. I would love that. Love from me here in Aus and doing well. Miss you all. Love Nicky xxoo

Thanks for the welcome Daniel. I had been meaning to take a picture of all my drums for a long time and finally this summer I hauled them out and got it done.

All the best

Danny, dear danny, when is the next yurt story? I hope not the 22nd, as we have family, but if so I'd still like to send some folks to it. Can't wait to have time with you and JK and to have you part of the next fundraiser for TTC. xoxoxxo meme linda -

Dear Daniel,
I do believe I may meet you soon thanks to the desire on Mike Seymour's and Pushkara's parts to "animate" the Awakening the Dreamer symposium with myth and ritual and song/story. I am so grateful that you have put this website together and that Pushkara told me about it. Mythsingers feels like family, especially with the abundance of folks from the NW and England. . .Though my soul is rooted by the mountains and wild, my heart sings with the kin found in those two other, more watery regions of this precious planet. Thank you and eager anticipation of being in your presence soon. Deborah

PS Do you have a guidebook for how to negotiate the site? Sometimes my clicks don't activate anything!.. .like when I want to invite a friend or become a friend. I want to join the Mythic Journeys group - you and the originators are the only members so far, but the system won't let me do it. Thanks for any help.

This story resembles "The Devil's Sooty Brother" but has a very different trajectory. By temptation is to change the name to Bear-sark as the berserkers were warriors who wore a sark (cloack) of bear skin. What do you have to say about last night's…
