We gathered around the alter of conch shell with a row of strawberries hanging out under it's seabone awning, and a small blackish greenish lind worm/ snake crawling deep inside and Montana sage ( that may have come from before the fire and may have…
Magical weaver of color and crystalline light, the imagery you draw out from the living world of wisdom absolutely ignites and delights the language of my soul. Thank you for speaking in signs and wonders.
Ah, Sarah ... Your ability to absorb medicine straight into the center of your heart is absolutely amazing.
You are an angel, a high priestess of the temple and a fierce warrior ... and I am fortunate to call you my teacher and my friend. I'm totally using that poem in my men's group too. Thanks for sharing.
I JUST read a flyer about the songwriting workshop this morning! I was happily fishing that afternoon but MAN would I have loved to do that!!
So I guess I'll see you out in the world soon - I hope so!
What does your week look like?
I've heard about this songlines thing from about 5 people now so I'm gonna have to check it out - but I'm torn cuz that's Renegade Cafe night at Dragon's Nest and last week was my first which ended with a sweet music jam down by the fire. I'll catch Songlines one of these days (speaking of songlines, I just heard about the book "Mutant Message" today - have you read it or heard of it?)
I might just be able to do the drum circle on WEdnesday - me and Leigh are painting and sanding a sailboat at 8 at the dock.
What's this class this woman is teaching?
Thanks for the heads up! I do feel satiated :)
I hope to see you around at one of these things. As for a song share, hell yeah! Happy camping in the meantime.

Whoa!! 7AM?? I wish I hadn't misread that, I would have gone this morning! Thank you for the invite! I'm excited to go when I can. Do you happen to know where Danny's telling the story tonight? Is it at his house? Cuz I know where that is
What a beautiful name. In response to your note, please remember there is a distinction between soapstone and sandstone. Sandstone is not what you want to carve. And in preparation, I always ask first, and get a feeling which stone wants to be carved. If I don't get an answer, I make the selection and notice how the stone responds to my tools and direction. If it cooperates, we're good together, and if not, then it was not meant to be. It has a different purpose. As for Brian being in tow, with him gone for the summer, I don't know if he will be around when you have the passion to begin. First find the materials to work with and then dive in. Another approach would be to make some design ideas on paper or in clay. Clay helps give you the 3D look and will help you know what the sides and the insides of curves actually look like. You can also work with your intuition. I might offer a class in June, so when I come up with a schedule, I'll contact you or post on the events calendar here. If was wonderful meeting you and I hope that I have been helpful for you realizing your ideas. Blessings, BB
