Invite twenty one of the bewildered masses to a feast and who will come? One will suspect your intentions and insist on a background investigation. One will first consult their lawyer. One will care more about the serving spoon. One will ask what their husband thinks. One will have a to do list. One will not be in the mood. One will want to know who put what where. One will keep a cool head, but stay home. One will stay home and kill plants without knowing it. One would rather exchange love with an animal. One will ask what is on the menu. One will come with mind in handcuffs but show no outward sign. One will forget their mouth. One will leave their hands behind. One will bring their own chair. One will come with a number. Another with many agendas. One deaf. Another blind. One more with a gun. But these are not the considerations I came to love, or fear. I will tell my story and there will be one. One will come in love and trust, will face the same way as you, and walk forever.
